Website Survey – Module 5

For the sake of this post, we’ll again narrow the scope to one of GMI’s most popular brands – Progresso – and develop questions based within this context.

Personally, I think that – no matter the website – AV’s “Critical Three” are always, well… critical, so we won’t bother including them in this post. Instead, I’ll develop some additional questions that might prove important for Progresso customers, the company, and the brand as a whole.

   1.     On a scale of 1-10, how easy was it to find the information you were looking for today? (With 1 being “Very Difficult,” and 10 being “Very Easy”)
a.     I chose this question because it gives our web masters a sense of the sites ease of use from the customer POV.

   2.     Do you feel that the Progresso.com website accurately portrays Progresso products, why or why not?
a.     I chose this question because it allows the marketing team to see potential tweaks that could be made to better/more accurately promote the Progresso brand.

   3.     Did you find the recipes on Progresso.com easy to make, why or why not?
a.     Feedback from customers regarding the recipes on Progresso.com can help our cooks improve existing ones and create new ones.

   4.     When searching for nutritional information on a particular product, were you able to find the information you needed?
a.     This would be one of the main reasons I would visit this site, personally. Can our customers find the nutrition info on our products quickly and easily?

   5.     Did you consider the coupons and promotions posted on Progresso.com to be a “good value,” why or why not?

As we can see, a few simple web survey questions could potentially help improve not only the Progresso.com website, but also many segments and sections of the business that operate behind it, including both online and offline channels.

  1. I like your question on the recipes since how easy or difficult they were may influence peoples' perception of the brand.

  2. I think your question about whether or not customers could find nutritional information is a good one. Everyone is getting health conscious theses days it is important for companies to make nutritional information available.
